COO

Meagan brings a dynamic blend of retail leadership, visual merchandising expertise, and operational excellence to the design world. With years of proven experience across a fast-paced retail environment, she has a deep understanding of how thoughtful design, strong processes, and people-first leadership come together to drive a successful business.

Her background spans visual merchandising, operations, and Human Resources. This experience allows her to see organizations holistically; from the initial customer experience on the floor to the systems and talent behind the scenes. Meagan is known for growing her business through strategic streamlining, creating efficient, scalable processes while preserving creativity and brand integrity.

A passionate advocate for talent development, Meagan excels at building and mentoring high performing teams, fostering cultures rooted in accountability, trust, and growth. She believes great design is not only about aesthetics, but function, flow, and the people who bring spaces to life.

Above all, Meagan leads with fun and authenticity. She brings energy, honesty, and heart to everything she does. Creating environments where teams feel inspired, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

Jessica Work

President + Founder

Having graduated Summa Cum Laude from the International Academy of Design in Chicago, IL, Jessie fell in love with fashion, design, drape, line, and the foundations of interior space. Honing her talents over time and moving west, she focused on functional creations in custom drapery and window coverings, and Blinds Couture was born. As President and Lead Designer, Jessie enthusiastically guides the Blinds Couture team with vision and inspiration. Educating clients in making informed window and wall design decisions are their primary purpose. Together, they marry fashion with function, integrating fabrics and textures to create beauty, privacy, and comfort.

Blinds Couture is headquartered in Colorado and remains home to Jessie and her family. Through collaborative partnerships, raving client referrals, and brand ambassadors, the business continues to expand. As the community teams and their families grow, Jessie remains committed to encouraging a culture of healthy work-life balance for herself, staff, designers, installers, and affiliates.

Susan Rood

Senior Design Associate

Susan comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the fashion retail industry. She has learned that looking our best can make us feel our best. She believes this carries over into our homes as well. Susan is thrilled to be in an industry that focuses on solutions.

Whether in fashion or interior design, she would describe her style as cool, casual Western with a modern twist, and attributes this to her time growing up in Northern California and over 27 years spent in Colorado. Relationship-building is one of Susan's greatest abilities and prides herself on using insight and active listening to identify a client's needs. She has a proven track record of building strong relationships in her many leadership positions held and is making these same contributions to the BC team.

Susan is goal-focused and strives to make every interaction and experience a positive one by exceeding expectations.

Nicole Dominic

Senior Design Associate

Nicole has always lived in a world of creativity. She has a BFA in film production as well as an MFA in writing. From set design for print, TV, & film to interior design and styling, and even in her personal art, she is moved by the beauty of textures and natural elements mixed together with the unexpected. For Nicole, it's the details that make things go from ordinary to special. Textiles speak to her love of layers and the way you can change a whole room with a set of beautiful drapery that diffuses the light and creates softness in the most perfect way imaginable.

When she's not dreaming of her next home design project, she loves seeing live music with her 16 year old, hikes and dinner with friends, and checking out cool boutique hotels.

Connie Madden

Design Associate

Connie Madden is a resourceful and enterprising woman with an understanding of efficiency, innovation, and creativity in the design industry. Connie lived and experienced most of her background in the Chicagoland area. She recently relocated to the Denver area where she is loving her new adventure. She brings with her extensive experience in client relations, residential & commercial design knowledge and applications.

She has owned her own home design company, providing project management from design to implementation. Prior to that, she worked in remodeling and custom home construction businesses, with roles in Administration, Procurement, and Project Design Management for over 20 years.

Connie's dedication and passion for her work are evident in her impressive career trajectory and her commitment to her clients and projects. Her innovative thinking and dedication to the clients' inspirations direct her to create finishes that result in the best spaces for living.

Tess Bartmann

Design Associate

Tess has a lifelong passion for all things design, with a background in interior design and a strong foundation in sales. She believes that great design starts with listening, and she takes pride in guiding clients through the window treatment selection process with creativity, expertise, and a collaborative spirit. Tess began her career in Las Vegas, where she worked at an architectural firm that focused on hospitality design. There, she gained valuable experience and discovered a love for fabrics and their role in transforming spaces. From rich textures to layered patterns, exploring textiles became one of her favorite parts of the design process-a passion she now brings to every client interaction.

Marissa Kutchner

Project Administrator + Design Associate (Lead PA)

Marissa brings several years of experience in the window coverings industry to her position as project administrator. She is no stranger to high-end residential interior projects and has contributed to all aspects in a project from initial measuring and consults, to assisting at final installations. She is happy to step in and help wherever she is needed. Somewhat of a perfectionist by nature, Marissa is on top of every aspect of a project to make sure everything stays on track.

Marissa has been sewing and making clothes since she was a young girl and she brings her eye for detail to every project she's a part of. Her keen eye for sewing, construction and fabrics helps her guide clients to proper fabric and window covering selections. She lives in the details of the projects she supports to ensure every client is happy with their window coverings and gets just what they're expecting!

Heather Robinson

Project Administrator

Heather is passionate about bringing structure to complexity and ensuring every project reaches completion with clarity and confidence. With a strong eye for detail and a love for organization, she works behind the scenes to keep timelines on track, documents in order, and communication flowing.

What drives Heather most is seeing projects through to the finish line - and knowing that clients experience a seamless, stress-free outcome. From initial planning to final delivery, she ensures nothing falls through the cracks and every team member stays aligned. With her experience, Heather brings a calm, solutions-focused mindset that keeps momentum high and goals in clear sight.

Stephanie Lamorie

Project Administrator

Stephanie Lamorie is a Project Administrator with 6+ years of experience in customer service, operations, and administrative support. She is skilled in streamlining processes, managing projects, and building strong client relationships to ensure smooth operations and successful outcomes.

Grace Fell

Project Administrator

With a focus on precision and efficiency, Grace takes pride in delivering high-quality work while ensuring a smooth experience for clients, designers, and team members. Her strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence make her a reliable and dedicated part of every project. Always striving to create a seamless process, Grace approaches each task with professionalism and care.

Jennifer Laszlo

Business Development

Jennifer discovered a passion for business when she first engaged in marketing for IBM. She and her husband then continued the business journey in growing their chiropractic and massage offices to ten locations in the Denver metro area and then launching a wedding business in 2020. Both businesses proved to be industry leaders in Colorado.

Some of her deepest passions in business are building client relationships that flourish for years (decades even!), structural organization, and team leadership. "I look forward to the opportunity to help others live life to the fullest, feeling exceptional and much of that starts right at home!"

Jennifer, and her family, built a new home in 2019 and Blinds Couture was the absolute BEST when it came to service, pricing, quality, communication, knowledge, and staff kindness. She's been a huge Blinds Couture advocate and being part of the team feels like being at home.
